Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health disorders in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear treatment goals and monitoring progress through regular follow-ups.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Respond promptly to client crises, employing de-escalation techniques and providing referrals to additional resources as necessary.

• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly and accurately in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that records are maintained in a timely manner.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and collaboration with peers to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on emerging best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with a diverse population experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and family dynamics. By fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere, the therapist will encourage clients to express their thoughts and feelings, helping them develop effective coping strategies and healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Current active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in outpatient mental health therapy, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
