Senior Vice President Of Ticket Sales & Service

The Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service will lead and manage a team responsible for ticket sales and retention for Penn State. Tasked with delivering on annual ticket sales revenue goals, this position includes the high-profile opportunity to work directly on selling-out lead the sales campaign to sell out Penn State's revitalized West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium, opening in the Fall of 2027.

Responsibilities include providing executive leadership for the Premium Ticket Sales & Service and Ticket Sales & Service teams, overseeing premium seating sales strategy, leading the sales team for Penn State's ticketed athletics programs, meeting or exceeding annual team ticket sales and/or retention goals, working closely with analytics teams to identify quality leads and monitor revenue pipeline, developing and maintaining a competitive sales team culture, establishing service and retention-oriented processes, managing team to balance service calls and outbound sales responsibilities, training sales and service team to identify opportunities for up-sells, working alongside marketing teams to optimize online sales performance, planning and implementing events for existing Season Ticket Members and general fans, establishing processes to optimize service efficiency through Season Ticket Members' use of online account management, managing team's game day duties, and performing any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications include eight (8) years of experience in ticket sales, minimum four (4) years in management role leading a ticket sales team, proven ability to develop and train staff and identify future sales leaders, history as a top revenue producer for a sports and/or entertainment organization, track record of achieving and surpassing sales goals, coachable and possessing a growth mindset, self-motivated, team, and career oriented, ability to maintain professional behavior and appearance, strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and multi-task, strong communication skills, ability to learn quickly and be multi-dimensional, goal-oriented with a focus on driving revenue, providing exceptional service, or supporting daily operations, ability to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruptions, and capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information as needed.

Working conditions include primarily working in an office environment, attending athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and limited travel on rare occasions.
