About the Role

We are looking for a high-octane, deeply creative Senior Manager of Social Media to own, scale, and transform our presence across LinkedIn, X, and Instagram. You aren't just a poster; you are a narrative strategist, a visual storyteller, and an analytical hawk. You understand that LinkedIn needs sharp thought leadership, X requires real-time cultural fluency and wit, and Instagram demands top-tier visual aesthetics and reel-driven storytelling.

You will have end-to-end ownership of channel strategy, content creation, community engagement, performance analytics, and rapid campaign iteration.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Content & Creative Ownership:
  • Develop and execute distinct, audience-specific channel strategies for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
  • Conceptualize, write, and produce high-engagement assets including long-form posts, short-form video, carousels, and real-time commentary in partnership with the Marketing, Design, and Brand teams.
  • Balance brand guardrails with daring, disruptive creative experiments.
  • Occasional ghostwriting or content framing for executive leadership on LinkedIn and X.
• Analytics, Metrics & Continuous Iteration:
  • Own core social KPIs: Organic Reach, Engagement Rate, Share of Voice, Click-Through Rate (CTR), and Audience Growth.
  • Establish a rigid weekly and monthly reporting cadence to analyze top-performing content, post-mortems, and channel trends.
  • Use performance data to rapidly iterate on content formats, hooks, posting schedules, and narrative angles.
• Audience Segmentation & Voice Mastery:
  • Tailor tone, design, and messaging to match the profile of each platform's distinct audience without diluting the core brand identity.
  • Lead proactive community management, driving real-time conversations, thread participation, and executive engagement across channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated social media management experience, with a proven track record of scaling organic accounts on LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
• Creative Portfolio: Demonstrable portfolio or links to accounts showing exceptional copywriting, creative concepting, and short-form video production/direction.
• Data & Analytics Mastery: Proficiency with analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platform analytics, GA4) and a proven habit of making data-driven creative adjustments.
• Platform Expertise: Expert-level understanding of platform-specific algorithms, format trends (e.g., Instagram Reels audio, LinkedIn text-only posts vs. pdf slides), and audience behaviors.
• Execution Speed: Ability to move fast, jump on trending cultural moments, and turn around copy/visuals in real time.

Job titles may span more than one career level, so actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market demand, among other factors. The range reflects base salary plus any variable, bonus, or sales incentives, and our estimate of the value of private company stock options where applicable. It's subject to change, and future stock value isn't guaranteed. Sword also offers additional benefits beyond total compensation.
