The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Content Marketing & Social to help build the content engine behind Hatch’s next phase of growth.

This is a senior, hands-on role for an exceptional content marketer, writer, and editor who knows how to create B2B content that performs. You’ll shape content strategy and personally write, edit, and ship content across web, campaigns, search, social, customer stories, executive thought leadership, video, events, and more.

You’ll help define what Hatch says, how we say it, and how our stories reach the market. If you love moving from strategy to blank page to finished asset (creating high-quality work at high velocity), this role is for you.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and execute Hatch’s content marketing strategy across the buyer journey, creating differentiated messaging and content for SMB, mid-market, and enterprise audiences.

• Personally write, edit, and ship high-performing content at high volume across websites, landing pages, campaigns, email, social, customer stories, sales enablement, video, events, and other marketing channels.

• Build and evolve messaging frameworks, architecture, voice and tone, editorial guidelines, and persona-specific messaging to create a clear and consistent Hatch story.

• Incorporate SEO-first content strategy and development, including keyword and intent research, topic strategy, content architecture, optimization, and emerging GEO/AEO opportunities.

• Measure content performance across traffic, rankings, engagement, conversion, leads, and pipeline influence; use insights to continually improve content strategy and execution.

• Own and evolve organic social strategy across LinkedIn, Meta, X, and Instagram, while experimenting with TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels to expand reach and engagement.

• Build and manage the social editorial calendar and external agencies/partners, setting the strategy, creative direction, quality bar, and performance expectations.

• Own community engagement, including how Hatch listens, responds, and builds relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and advocates across social feeds, comments, groups, and communities.

• Build executive thought-leadership programs and ghostwrite for leaders with distinct voices, adapting tone, POV, and messaging by executive, audience, persona, and channel.

• Develop compelling customer stories and video case studies, from identifying the story and interview narrative through scripting and production.

• Write narratives, scripts, and talk tracks for keynotes, conference sessions, webinars, executive presentations, videos, and other high-visibility moments.

What it takes to Succeed:

• 7+ years of B2B content marketing experience, preferably within high-growth SaaS, AI, or technology.

• An exceptional writer and editor with a portfolio demonstrating outstanding work across multiple formats, audiences, and channels.

• Proven ability to operate at both levels: develop the strategy and personally execute the work with speed, creativity, and a consistently high quality bar.

• Deep understanding of B2B SaaS buying journeys and experience developing differentiated content for SMB, mid-market, enterprise, and multiple buyer personas.

• Strong SEO expertise and demonstrated experience building search-led content programs that drive measurable organic growth.

• Experience developing messaging frameworks, content architecture, voice and tone guidelines, and editorial standards.

• Experience owning organic social programs and managing agencies across LinkedIn and other major social channels.

• Experience with community management and engagement, social listening, advocacy, or building community programs.

• Experience developing executive thought leadership, customer storytelling, video, and other multimedia content.

• Strong analytical instincts and experience using content and social performance data to inform what you create next.

• Strong creative instincts with an eye for modern design, brand, and visual storytelling.

• A builder’s mindset and bias for action; you’re resourceful, move quickly, wear multiple hats, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on proficiency with Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.

• Experience producing or directing customer videos and short-form social content.

• Experience with GEO/AEO and AI-driven search optimization.

• Experience marketing to home services, field services, vertical SaaS, or SMB audiences.

Experience using AI tools to increase content velocity, creativity, optimization, and performance.

• Compensation range for this position is $108,000 - $180,000 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
