Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans that consider individual circumstances and goals.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to provide individual and group counseling sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to empower patients through shared experiences and community engagement.

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and social workers to coordinate holistic care and ensure continuity of treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and risk assessment.

• Educate clients on their conditions, treatment options, and how to effectively utilize available community resources to foster independence and resilience.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for seamless patient management.

• Participate actively in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse clientele dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Proven experience working with a diverse range of mental health disorders and applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, crucial for establishing supportive relationships with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
