Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist near Ypsilanti, MI, for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll provide essential speech and language services in a dynamic K-12 educational setting, helping students reach their communication potential. Full-time hours are available (37.5 per week), though part-time candidates are welcome for consideration to ensure the highest quality fit.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Minimum of one year of experience providing speech services to K–12 students in an educational setting
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Must be available onsite; remote/virtual work is not an option for this assignment
• Please note: SLP Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders among K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain records to ensure compliance
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services with evidence-based practices
• Communicate progress and strategies to families and school staff effectively
