Summary of Responsibility:

The Field Service Technician will develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will learn the basics of the business and be responsible for installing and troubleshooting our equipment. The Service Engineer will communicate directly with customers to gather data directly from the field to continuously improve our products and our customers' experience.

What You Will Contribute:

• Frequent travel both local and national
• Install and commission equipment in the field
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Create product improvements based on customer feedback
• Assemble to prints and bill of materials
• Providing live technical support via phone and email
• Perform root cause analysis on failures in the field
• Coordinate with the engineering team to constantly improve products and installation processes

Qualifications & Competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Valid driver's license
• Customer service and listening skills
• Knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical systems
• Candidates should demonstrate an eagerness to learn and interest in how systems operate.
• They should be able to diagnose failures and identify root causes.
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Candidates should also possess the ability to understand drawings and schematics.

• Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas.
• Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work.
• Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
