PRN CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging at a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures following department protocols to obtain diagnostic images. Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring safety and optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and workspaces, reporting issues promptly. Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification and safety. Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and ensure comfort and privacy. Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques when necessary and position patients accurately. Review images for quality, repeat or adjust as needed, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control practices. Coordinate daily workflows, support department operations, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS from the American Heart Association.
