Job Description Job Description ** Growing General Contracting Company | Excellent Benefits & Opportunity for Growth ** A growing General Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its team. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll coordination, accounts payable, and weekly billing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of contract-based billing. ** Responsibilities ** Collect and review employee hours and submit payroll information to the payroll specialist Manage and reconcile accounts payable and vendor bills Prepare and process weekly client billing Review billing against contract requirements and ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide general bookkeeping and administrative support as needed ** Qualifications ** Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably within the construction/general contracting industry ** Proficiency with Sage Intacct is required ** Experience with AIA contracts and contract-based billing is required Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills ** Why This Opportunity? ** Excellent opportunity to join a growing company Competitive compensation Fantastic benefits package Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr PLUM PLACEMENTS INC
