About SOLFL
SOLFL is a new movement in conscious education dedicated to cultivating intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. Our first school, SOLFL עץ חיים, a K-12 Miami Torah Earth School, offers a rigorous, mutli-disiplinary curriculum that integrates hands-on, experiential learning with entrepreneurship, ecology, creative expressions and spiritual practice. Our goal is to move children away from traditional classrooms, desks and screens, into the real world. This is an irl (in real life) school aimed at cultivating the impact entrepreneurs of the future.
About the role
We are seeking a mission-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can translate visionary direction into aligned, grounded, and high-quality execution. This leader will steward the school’s culture, operations, educational excellence, and people systems while maintaining deep reverence for the spiritual essence and purpose of our mission.The COO will ensure clarity, coherence, and operational excellence across the organization by integrating people, processes, and priorities so that every child and every teacher can flourish. This role requires a rare blend of operational rigor, entrepreneurial mind set, emotional intelligence, strategic leadership, and soulful presence. The ideal candidate will honor the Founder’s vision while helping build a sustainable, scalable, and thriving school ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring excellence across administration, systems, facilities, compliance, and logistics.
- Translate strategic vision into actionable plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Build and optimize systems, workflows, and operational infrastructure that support sustainable growth.
- Ensure operational alignment across departments and teams.
Culture & Community Stewardship
- Cultivate a joyful, values-aligned, spiritually grounded culture for students, families, and staff.
- Serve as a steady, compassionate leader who models presence, integrity, and conscious communication.
- Foster strong relationships across the school community and support a culture of trust, accountability, and belonging.
- Help preserve and strengthen the energetic integrity of the school environment.
Educational Excellence
- Partner with educational leaders to ensure programs align with the school’s mission, philosophy, and standards of excellence.
- Support an integrated approach to learning that honors creativity, entrepreneurship, nature, emotional intelligence, and spiritual development.
- Ensure operational systems effectively support teachers and student success.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Partner closely with the Founder and leadership team to execute long-term strategic priorities.
- Support the scaling and evolution of the school while maintaining alignment with its core values and spiritual mission.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Collaborate on budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure long-term sustainability.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, risk management, and operational policies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior operational or executive leadership experience, ideally within education, wellness, conscious business, or mission-driven organizations.
- Proven ability to lead complex organizations with both strategic vision and operational discipline.
- Strong people leadership and organizational development experience.
- Deep emotional intelligence, grounded presence, and exceptional communication skills.
- Experience building systems and teams in fast-growing or entrepreneurial environments.
- Alignment with the school’s mission, values, and spiritually centered approach to education.
- Ability to balance structure with flexibility, accountability with compassion, and execution with heart.
