Job Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities across the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical housekeeping and linen services with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Perform routine tasks such as emptying wastebaskets, changing sharps containers, dusting, sanitizing, and replenishing room supplies.
• Conduct project cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains as assigned.
• Deliver supplies, pharmaceuticals, and medical records to satellite locations within the region.
• Manage linen processing duties including sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
• Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure proper packing according to case specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment and promptly report any needed repairs.
• Adhere to departmental standards, safety policies, and legal regulations to protect patients and staff.
• Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
• Support teamwork by collaborating with peers, communicating effectively, and assisting with unassigned tasks as needed.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and follow infection control protocols diligently.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or support services is advantageous.

This position offers a part-time, as-needed schedule on the first shift, including varied days with rotating weekends and holidays.
