Associate Support Services Technician
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings within the Midwest region. This role involves cleaning and disinfecting operating rooms and common areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized. Responsibilities include the safe handling and disposal of regular and biohazardous waste, adhering strictly to infection prevention and safety protocols. The position requires working both independently and collaboratively to meet departmental goals.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred - Previous related experience is advantageous - Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred - 1-2 years of relevant work experience This is a full-time position on the first shift, with scheduled weekly hours of 37.5. Weekend and holiday rotations are required to support continuous operations.
