Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team at a well-established home health agency. In this role, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support while helping facilitate communication and daily operations within the office. This position also includes assisting with client admissions, caregiver orientations, and occasional visits to clients’ homes as needed to support agency services and ensure quality care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clerical Support: Prepare documents, organize files, and assist with general office duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, distribute mail, and help maintain communication within the office as well as with caregivers, clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Office Management: Order and manage office supplies, assist with maintaining personnel and client files, and support overall office organization and daily operations.
  • Client & Caregiver Support: Assist with caregiver orientations, client admissions, and occasional client visits as needed to support agency operations and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Field Visits: Travel to clients’ homes and other assigned locations for admissions, documentation collection, orientations, and follow-up visits when required.
  • Positive Representation: Promote the agency’s mission and maintain a professional, compassionate, and positive image while interacting with clients, families, caregivers, and medical professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Language Skills:(*Spanish/English*) is required.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
  • Driver's License  is required.

Work Environment & Conditions:

  • Relaxed, flexible work environment with understanding management.
  • Some occasional standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and filing may be required.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure when meeting deadlines.
  • Occasional local travel and some exposure to weather elements.
