Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting recovery and improving patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Administer therapeutic treatments utilizing advanced modalities to address conditions in orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring clear communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes using contemporary clinical practices and evidence-based protocols.
• Implement home care techniques for patients who require support outside the clinic, delivering care that aligns with physician directives.
• Educate and instruct patients and caregivers on rehabilitation processes and preventive best practices to encourage adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and meet organizational objectives in service delivery and efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your role is essential in guiding each patient from the initial evaluation through their recovery phases, ensuring that their journey is tailored to their individual needs and goals. The relationships you establish with patients will be paramount in fostering their motivation and commitment to rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with preference given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• A current state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records systems and basic word processing skills.
• A genuine desire to connect with and positively impact the lives of patients while fostering their trust and engagement.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting. Experience with specialty populations (e.g., pediatrics, sports medicine) is a plus, as is a track record of applying evidence-based treatment methodologies to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
