Audit Coordinator Specialist

The Audit Coordinator Specialist supports the Louisiana Office of Community Development's compliance, monitoring, and risk management functions by coordinating internal and external audits, monitoring reviews, and compliance assessments for federal grant programs exceeding $20 billion. The position serves as a liaison between LOCD staff and oversight entities including the Louisiana Legislative Auditor, HUD Office of Inspector General, and other federal agencies, while assisting internal departments in audit preparation and ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations. Key Qualifications Baccalaureate degree plus two years of professional experience in auditing, accounting, grants management, compliance monitoring, finance, or public administration Knowledge of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT) programs and federal grant compliance requirements including 2CFR Part200 and24CFR Part570 Experience coordinating audits, monitoring reviews, compliance assessments, and corrective action plans Experience working with federal or state oversight agencies such as HUD, FEMA, Treasury, or Legislative Auditors Knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring practices Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications #J-18808-Ljbffr
