Trustpoint.One is partnering with a leading AmLaw firm seeking a Corporate / M&A Attorney to support sophisticated transactions and strategic business initiatives.

This is an opportunity to apply your corporate experience to complex matters involving acquisitions, integrations, corporate reorganizations, spinoffs, and other significant business changes — while working alongside an accomplished legal team.

What you'll do:

\n
• Support mergers and acquisitions and other complex corporate transactions.
\n
• Conduct legal due diligence and assess transactional risks.
\n
• Advise on corporate governance and organizational matters.
\n
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
\n
• Support business integrations, separations, spinoffs, reorganizations, and related transformation initiatives.
\n
• Collaborate with attorneys and business stakeholders to develop practical, business-focused legal solutions.
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• 3+ years of experience practicing law, with a strong corporate and transactional background.
\n
• Meaningful experience with M&A and corporate transactions.
\n
• Experience with due diligence, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.
\n
• Exposure to integrations, separations, spinoffs, reorganizations, or other business transformation initiatives is a plus.
\n
• Current or recent AmLaw firm experience is required.
\n
• Active Illinois bar membership in good standing is required.
\n
• Must be based in or commutable to Chicago, IL.
\n
