Director of Finance

Harmer has been engaged by our manufacturing client to identify a Director of Finance. This is a highly visible finance leadership opportunity supporting a multi-site business with over $1B in revenues. The Finance Director will serve as a strategic partner to senior commercial and operational leadership, providing financial insight and leadership to drive business performance and support continued growth. Opportunity Highlights: Highly visible role partnering with senior commercial, operational, and executive leadership Broad scope across FP&A, operational finance, manufacturing finance, accounting, and strategic decision support Lead an established, geographically dispersed finance organization with experienced leaders across the business Play a key role in business transformation, integration, process improvement, and finance systems initiatives Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a complex, global business while helping drive its continued evolution and growth Responsibilities Include: Partner with senior business and operational leaders to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making Lead forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, performance analysis, and executive reporting Provide insight into financial and operational results, including key business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities Lead and develop finance and accounting professionals across multiple locations and regions Support business transformation, integration, and other strategic growth initiatives Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, controls, standardization, and business intelligence Provide oversight of accounting, cost accounting, inventory, internal controls, and US GAAP reporting Partner with operational and commercial leadership on manufacturing performance, cost analysis, profitability, and business improvement initiatives Support finance systems transformation and the continued development of scalable processes and reporting Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility Strong experience within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment Demonstrated success serving as a strategic finance business partner to senior operational and commercial leadership Strong FP&A experience, including forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting Solid understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and manufacturing/cost accounting Experience leading and developing geographically dispersed finance teams Experience supporting business transformation, integration, or significant change initiatives preferred Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insight #J-18808-Ljbffr
