Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyadhering to established protocols.
• Ensure result accuracy by analyzing data, troubleshooting discrepancies, and performing necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Meticulously document procedures, train new staff and students, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the lab while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP or AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ensure current certification is maintained during employment.
