• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Keep complete records of all lab procedures, provide training to new staff members or students, and help to uphold high standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment, fully complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification during the tenure of employment.
