Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory examinations—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training for new personnel or students, and help uphold the lab's quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of acceptance.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
