Responsibilities – What You Will Tackle

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established guidelines.
• Ensure the accuracy of results through diligent analysis, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and preparation of samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to upholding the high-quality standards of the laboratory.
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace, while complying with all regulatory and accreditation specifications.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health qualification with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure with us.
