Your Role What You'll Accomplish

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses in disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify errors, and manage preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Document all procedures comprehensively, mentor new staff or trainees, and actively contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of hire.
• Maintain current certification as part of your employment.
