Candidates will float between units as needed. On-call requirements are not necessary. Weekends are mandatory, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. Block scheduling is not required. Expected patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds. The dress code for nursing staff is solid navy blue scrub attire. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces. The unit adapts to various patient demographics, primarily focusing on adults and geriatrics. Daily census reflects an average of 13 patients with special procedures inclusive of CRRT and chemotherapy administration. Travelers may be required to float to other sister ICUs, with a potential patient ratio of 1:3. Specific skills in advanced interventions and patient management are essential for this role. Candidates must be adaptable and prepared to work in a dynamic environment.
