Senior Billing Specialist

Job Description
A Client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to manage sophisticated legal billing portfolios, prepare and process a high volume of invoices, review pre-bills, support attorneys, and resolve billing questions. This individual will work independently within a collaborative team while managing complex fee arrangements, competing priorities, and strict billing deadlines

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of overall billing experience, including at least 2-3 years of legal billing experience
Experience supporting attorneys and managing complex legal billing portfolios
Knowledge of pre-bills, legal billing cycles, fee arrangements, and law firm client requirements
Experience with split billing, multi-payer arrangements, and alternative, fixed, capped, or flat fees
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Working knowledge of e-billing workflows and client requirements
Strong organization, accuracy, communication, customer service, and independent workload management Aderant or Elite 3E experience
Experience with ProLaw, Oracle, SAP, Intapp, Time Matters, or comparable legal accounting systems
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
Willingness to support later schedules or West Coast coverage
