Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a primarily remote work setting, promoting flexibility and work-life balance. However, the role also requires periodic in-person meetings and participation in team activities, fostering a collaborative spirit among our professionals. Our core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, evaluating the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms such as anxiety and depression.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide patient treatment.

• Provide education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, including effective treatment and self-care techniques.

• Track and assess clients' progress through the therapeutic process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans when required.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, integrating psychotherapy with medical treatments.

• Stay informed about the latest research in the field of mood disorders to continually enhance treatment methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical practices.

• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and case consultations to refine clinical skills and share best practices.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working towards de-stigmatization of mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid California licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Two years of post-licensure experience in treating clients with mood disorders is preferred.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to communicate effectively with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
