Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

License: Current state license preferred.

Certifications: ARDMS RVT/RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS/RVS, and BLS required.

Must-Have: Clienttion badge must be supplied by the agency. On-call and weekend requirements are applicable.

Description: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from the offer. Work will involve a varying 5x8 hour shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Weekend requirement is 1-2 weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM. On-call requirements include weekday and weekend shifts. Weekday call is expected about 2-3 times per month. Weekend call is required 2 times every other month. Daily caseload per technologist is 7-8 for 8 hours, 8-10 for 10 hours. First-timers are accepted. All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application. Approval for time off will be based on availability. The facility allows for one shift cancellation every two weeks. This is a teaching hospital with a total of 865 staffed beds. Scrub color is navy blue. Charting is performed using the Epic system. Travelers should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. Traveler candidates must have a state license or proof of application for licensure. Time off requests after application submission will not be accepted. Local candidates will be considered at a lower bill rate. Previously perm staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning.
