Certified Surgical Technician - Travel Position

This position requires 3 12-hour D/N rotating shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. All shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights), with calls and weekends required. Call can occur on weekdays and/or weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available if needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technician with a strong background in the operating room. The ideal candidate will be required to scrub all cases, specifically in General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant surgeries. Level 1 Trauma experience is mandatory, with at least 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgeries across various specialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments efficiently.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Respond to calls during scheduled shifts and provide support as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Certified with NBSTSA or NCCT (no other certifications will be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years in the operating room, with a preference for 3 years.
• At least 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years.
• Level 1 Trauma experience is required for at least 1 year out of the last 3.
