Senior Technical Energy AnalystProSidian Seeks a Senior Technical Energy Analyst in CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC to support an engagement for an independent agency of the United States Federal Govt. that is concerned with the United States' policies regarding energy and safety in handling nuclear material. The agency has a mission to lead national efforts to modernize the electric grid; enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure; and facilitate recovery from disruptions to energy supply.The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide financial, technical, analytical, modeling, project management, and communications support to meet on-going requirements within the agency. Key workstream coverage for the ProSidian Engagement Team includes but not limited to budget and financial systems support, human capital technical support, CBO financial reporting, advanced grid research and development technical and analytical support, and transmission permitting and technical assistance.Senior Technical Energy Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for program support and primary role is to provide management and oversight support for the Department's effort to provide technical assistance to States, regional entities, and tribes to help them develop and improve programs, policies, and laws that facilitate development of reliable and affordable electricity infrastructure.Responsibilities include collaborating and working with contractors, federal personnel, stakeholders, and other federal and government agencies; advising on technical matters related to energy security; directing and controlling projects and tasks; planning, executing, monitoring, and completing work; managing contractor staff; writing, preparing formal presentations, and providing program-level communications; and communicating clearly and concisely with excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.Qualifications include consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years, ability to use a computer to communicate via email, proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products, a Master's degree with ten years of experience, relevant government consulting experience, specialized work experience in energy delivery, engineering, analytics, or electrical systems and infrastructure, knowledge of National critical energy infrastructure protection programs, and the ability to obtain a current Top Secret (TS)/DOE "Q" or TS/Q Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. Work shall be conducted at the CONUS/OCONUS - Washington, DC. U.S. Citizenship Required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" (also referred to as an "Employment Authorization") by the USG's designated Security Office.
