Technical Business AnalystAn established sports retail and e-commerce company is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to sit between the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and the dev team. This is a support role, not a Product Owner seat, the goal is to remove ambiguity so developers spend their time building instead of chasing down what a ticket actually means.What You'll DoRun workshops and stakeholder interviews to turn high-level requests into clear, actionable requirementsWrite user stories and acceptance criteria in testable formats (Given/When/Then)Break large features into developer-ready tasks and support backlog groomingServe as the first point of clarification for developers instead of routing every question back to the businessWork with QA to make sure test cases actually match the acceptance criteriaFlag edge cases, dependencies, and integration risks before they hit developmentMaintain documentation, workflows, and user flows so the team isn't relying on tribal knowledgeWhat You NeedExperience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst on software development projectsStrong grasp of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)Comfortable writing user stories and testable acceptance criteriaHands-on with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog toolsCan build user flows or process diagrams in Figma, Lucidchart, or MiroWorking knowledge of web application architecture, LAMP stack familiarity is a plusSharp attention to detail, good at catching gaps before they become dev problemsNice To HaveExperience working with QA on test plans or UATFamiliarity with UML or BPMN diagramsExposure to API-driven systems or e-commerce platformsExperience working across multiple stakeholders on complex integrations
