Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every 3rd Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting, managing complex post-operative and critically ill patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedic interventions, liver transplants, Level 1 trauma, MVAs, falls, gunshot wounds, and open abdomens
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Must be available to work every 3rd weekend
• Must be able to complete a pass/fail clinical competency exam (maximum of 3 attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma or high-acuity surgical ICU environment preferred
