This hybrid position offers a fantastic opportunity with a prestigious law firm, requiring in-office presence for three days per week and the option to work from home for two days once trained. Some travel between their Downtown and West Los Angeles offices will be necessary. Role Overview: The Manager of Legal Recruiting will provide strategic direction for the firm's office and practice area recruitment plans. This role serves as the primary hiring contact for summer associate hires for the Downtown and West Los Angeles offices and will act as the firm-wide Legal Recruiting liaison for various practice groups. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with upper management to develop strategies for recruiting and hiring summer and lateral associates. Work with the team to effectively onboard and integrate new candidates. Analyze data and trends to identify potential candidates. Actively develop and maintain relationships with local and national search firms. Oversee the firm’s internal due diligence processes for all local summer associate and lateral hires. Maintain appropriate metrics to report and measure success related to lateral recruitment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree. 5-7+ years of direct recruiting experience from a large law firm with multiple offices or other professional service firms with multiple offices (candidates without this experience will not be considered). Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and smoothly. Superior judgment and discretion to protect and maintain highly confidential information. Sophisticated and strategic research skills to identify lateral and summer associate candidates. Working knowledge of recruiting software, Workday, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
