This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining connections with clients across various demographics. Our outpatient office setting focuses on delivering care through modern telehealth platforms, ensuring a secure and confidential therapy experience. You will engage with clients regularly through video sessions, leveraging technology to overcome barriers and reach individuals who may struggle to access traditional in-person therapy.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental and emotional health issues.

• Evaluate client backgrounds, needs, and goals to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan, addressing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and relationship dynamics.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing intimacy.

• Continuously review and modify treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tracking their progress and making necessary adjustments based on their evolving needs.

• Document all client interactions precisely, maintaining up-to-date records that include progress notes, treatment plans, and detailed case histories.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Respond to crises and provide timely interventions for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Stay abreast of developments in marriage and family therapy through professional training and continuing education opportunities.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all legal guidelines governing the practice of therapy.

• Encourage clients' empowerment through advocacy for their rights and well-being, offering resources to facilitate access to additional support services.

• Engage in self-care practices to foster personal well-being and resilience, while encouraging clients to adopt healthy habits.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LMFT will encompass a broad range of clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. You will cater to individuals dealing with various challenges, providing tailored interventions that address issues from family conflict to personal mental health struggles. By fostering a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, you will help clients navigate their personal challenges, improve their relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Florida.

• Experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy is essential.

• Background working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.

• Demonstrated skills in completing client assessments and formulating treatment plans timely and effectively.
