This position is responsible for coordinating quality assurance and regulatory activities to ensure compliance with institutional, sponsor, federal, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements while supporting the efficient conduct of clinical research operations. Responsibilities include performing Regulatory responsibilities, quality and compliance oversight, data analysis and reporting, process improvement initiatives, audit coordination, and staff education. The position also supports CRU operations, including but not limited to clinical trial billing compliance, finance-related activities, grants and contracts administration, budgeting support, documentation review, work queue management, operational reporting, and special projects as assigned. Working closely with investigators, research personnel, institutional offices, sponsors, and support departments, the Quality Assurance Coordinator contributes to maintaining regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, data integrity, and high-quality clinical research operations.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONRequiredEducationAssociate's Degree in related field Experience3 years of experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree. PreferredEducationBachelor's Degree and experience working in healthcare facility preferred JOB DUTIESWorks in collaboration with management, support services and clinical departments to meet designated dashboard standards and reports weekly to the leadership team and graph package participants. Performs complex data analysis, develops methodologies for analyzing and presenting data.Plans, coordinates, and conducts audits in the areas assigned, analyzes collected data, reports trends and outcomes and proposes solutions from audit findings. Provides input to identify quality and process improvement opportunities.Provides department support through data analysis, work queue resolution and special projects assigned by department leadership. Assists with claim edits, documentation review and performs necessary action to correct errors. Initiates/updates training material and conducts training when/where applicable.Communicates results effectively to customers. Communicates regularly and effectively with team members and leadership. Points out system or process problems when noticed; engages the team in problem solving. Provides a high level of customer service while meeting project and presentation deadlines.Provides working supervision to groups of administrative and/or technical positions.
