Ignite learning and make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher for high school students in a dynamic, full-time onsite contract position supporting grades 9-12. Bring your expertise to a vibrant educational environment, working from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027. Shape the academic journey for students with diverse learning needs, with a special focus on Math and individualized case management.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO CDE) Certificate required
- Experience or passion for supporting adolescents in grades 9-12
- Strong background in Special Education teaching, particularly with Math
- Demonstrated success in case management and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative, individualized educational plans for a caseload of one high school student
- Deliver effective math interventions and instruction tailored to student learning profiles
- Document progress, maintain IEP records, and manage compliance documentation
- Coordinate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support holistic student success
- Advocate for accommodations, modifications, and services that empower students to thrive academically and socially
- Provide case management, including regular monitoring, progress reporting, and coordination of support services
