Cross Island Provisions, an Authorized Boar's Head Purveyor, is looking for an energetic, outgoing Selling Event Specialist to represent the Boar's Head brand through in-store sampling events at our retail partners. If you're passionate about food, enjoy engaging with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Conduct in-store sampling events featuring premium Boar's Head meats, cheeses, condiments, and specialty products. Create a fun and inviting shopping experience that encourages customers to try and purchase Boar's Head products. Educate customers on product quality, flavor profiles, serving ideas, and complementary products. Increase sales through suggestive selling and product recommendations. Set up and break down sampling displays while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work area. Operate a deli slicer safely (training provided if needed). Build positive relationships with deli managers, associates, and customers. Represent Cross Island Provisions and the Boar's Head brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Travel to retail locations throughout the assigned territory. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Passion for food and customer service. Previous experience in retail, food service, hospitality, sales, or customer service preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple store locations. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds. Basic smartphone and computer skills.
