Amazon Marketplace Manager

Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned, licensed, and private label brands, is seeking an Amazon Marketplace Manager - Planning & Analytics to help drive rapid growth across Amazon. This role will leverage a variety of merchandising, operational, analytical, and strategic initiatives to accelerate sales growth, strengthen brand positioning, and optimize the customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, and passionate about e‑commerce. They will play a key role in managing marketplace performance, identifying growth opportunities, optimizing product assortments, and developing data‑driven strategies that support long‑term channel expansion. This individual will serve as a key stakeholder in the continued growth of Komar’s Amazon business, helping build scalable, best‑in‑class marketplace programs across a diverse portfolio of brands. Responsibilities Analyze sales performance, customer demand, and marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities and develop data‑driven recommendations that maximize revenue, profitability, and market share. Develop FBA inventory and replenishment plans by evaluating sales velocity, lead times, weeks of supply, seasonality, promotional activity, and inventory health metrics to maintain optimal in‑stock levels. Build and maintain SKU‑level demand forecasts using historical sales, product lifecycle, launch plans, and seasonal trends to improve inventory accuracy and support business planning. Monitor inventory health metrics including sell‑through, aged inventory, excess inventory, storage utilization, and stockout risk, recommending actions to optimize working capital and improve operational efficiency. Evaluate style‑color‑and size‑level sales performance to identify bestsellers, slow movers, assortment gaps, and opportunities for portfolio optimization. Leverage Amazon Brand Analytics, Business Reports, Search Query Performance, and other marketplace data to identify customer behavior trends, keyword opportunities, competitive insights, and whitespace opportunities. Analyze the customer purchase journey by monitoring traffic, conversion rates, click‑through rates, and other funnel metrics to identify opportunities for improved discoverability, conversion, and customer experience. Conduct pricing and profitability analyses, monitoring competitive pricing, Buy Box performance, promotional effectiveness, and margin impact to support pricing strategy and maximize profitability. Evaluate seasonal demand patterns, promotional events, and product lifecycle trends to develop inventory and merchandising strategies that maximize sales while minimizing excess inventory. Perform liquidation and inventory disposition analyses for slow‑moving and aged inventory, recommending markdown, promotional, bundle, or liquidation strategies to optimize inventory recovery and warehouse utilization. Analyze Amazon fulfillment network performance, FBA capacity constraints, inbound efficiency, and replenishment timing to improve inventory availability and operational execution. Build dashboards and performance reporting that provide actionable insights into sales trends, inventory performance, profitability, customer behavior, and marketplace health, enabling informed business decisions across cross‑functional teams. Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, translating complex datasets into clear business insights and actionable growth initiatives. Identify and evaluate opportunities for expansion into Amazon international marketplaces, developing assortment strategies and analysis, and partnering with internal teams to support growth initiatives. Monitor revenue, margin, promotional performance, inventory health, and key business KPIs to identify opportunities and risks, making data‑driven recommendations to improve overall channel profitability and performance. Develop and manage the Amazon promotional calendar by analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, seasonality, and promotional performance to optimize participation in key events including Best Deals/Lightning Deals, Prime Day/Big Deal Days, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, etc. Qualifications 4–6 years of experience with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and/or other e‑commerce marketplaces; experience with Rithum, or similar marketplace integration platforms preferred. Proven track record of driving e‑commerce sales growth and marketplace performance. Strategic and resourceful thinker with strong business acumen and commercial decision‑making skills. Strong analytical capabilities with experience interpreting marketplace analytics, customer journey insights, attribution data, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and drive business decisions. Highly effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, project management, and problem‑solving abilities.
