Its attorneys defend businesses and insured clients in insurance defense, personal injury, construction defect, and employment matters. The firm has a reputation for collaboration, sharp advocacy, and a team culture where junior attorneys get meaningful work early. What You’ll Do Handle your own docket of civil defense cases from the initial pleadings through resolution, with guidance from senior attorneys Prepare pleadings, motions, written discovery, and case correspondence Research legal issues and give clear written analysis to support case strategy Help shape case strategy, discovery plans, motion practice, settlement talks, and trial prep Take and defend depositions, make court appearances, and attend mediations and arbitrations as your experience grows Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel What You Bring J.D. from an accredited law school Active California State Bar license in good standing 1 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred Background in insurance defense, personal injury, construction defect, employment, or general civil litigation is a plus Strong research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to juggle multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced practice Polished communication skills and a client-first mindset Must live within commuting distance of the firm’s Los Angeles-area office Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $125,000 to $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications Quarterly performance bonus opportunities Unlimited PTO after 90 days Medical and dental, plus optional vision coverage 401(k) with employer match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Voluntary life insurance Paid parking Hybrid Schedule & Expectations Hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote 1,800 annual billable hour target Regular court appearances, depositions, and client meetings Quick 2-Step Interview Process The firm moves quickly with strong candidates.
