Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial consultations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.

In this role, you will work primarily with a broad spectrum of clients facing varying mental health challenges. Your caseload may include individuals dealing with substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. A deep understanding of cultural competence will enhance your ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and tailor your therapeutic approach to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong knowledge base of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

While the minimum requirement is four years of experience, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, substance abuse interventions, or specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT or DBT) will be favored. Experience in delivering care within an outpatient setting, understanding insurance documentation, and familiarity with telehealth practices will also be beneficial.
