Part-Time Off-Road Dump Truck Driver/Flagger - Drainage District

Drives a dump truck off road and is a flagger for traffic control to ensure a safe work zone. May operate equipment to assist with drainage channel maintenance. Responsible for abiding by all traffic laws. Assists other employees with their duties, performs shop duties and/or other duties as assigned. Held accountable for equipment used. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. One-year job related work experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public and other employees. Ability to understand and carry out instructions and complete assignments in a timely fashion. Must have Texas Drivers License, excellent driving skills and a clean driving record. STARTING SALARY: $16.20 per hour, Up to 40 hours per week CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position All full-time and part-time employees are members of the Texas County District Retirement System (TCDRS).
