Work Environment

This position is set in an onsite hospital environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. Our clinic boasts modern equipment and therapy spaces that facilitate effective rehabilitation. Your typical work hours may vary based on your preferred schedule, with options available for 8-hour shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, or even four 10-hour shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life commitment—no weekends required!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring high-quality care.
• Provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and manual therapy techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to maintain alignment with rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure a clean and organized therapy space by following infection control protocols and maintaining equipment properly.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. The emphasis is on outpatient care, which means your interactions will likely involve individuals seeking to enhance their quality of life through rehabilitative practices. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Current Florida PTA license is required to legally practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to create rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with evidence-based practices and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Prior experience working with specific populations (e.g., geriatrics, sports injuries) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 55,000 to USD 60,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
