Immediate Opportunity for an Experienced Litigation Legal Assistant

\n

A well-established law firm in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join its team on an immediate basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned legal support professional who is confident managing the demands of a busy litigation practice and can step into the role with minimal ramp-up time.

\n

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable supporting attorneys in a fast-paced environment. Prior litigation legal assistant experience is required.

\n

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to litigation attorneys.
\n
• Prepare, format, proofread, and edit pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
\n
• Assist with electronic and court filings and ensure documents are submitted accurately and timely.
\n
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, meetings, and other appointments.
\n
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
\n
• Assist with discovery, including preparing, organizing, and tracking discovery-related documents.
\n
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
\n
• Coordinate meetings, conference calls, depositions, and other litigation-related activities.
\n
• Monitor case deadlines and proactively alert attorneys to upcoming dates and required actions.
\n
• Assist with time entry, billing, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
\n
• Prepare and organize documents, exhibits, and materials for hearings, depositions, and trial.
\n
• Handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism.
\n
• Provide additional administrative support as needed to ensure the litigation team operates efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Previous litigation legal assistant experience is required.
\n
• Strong understanding of litigation terminology, procedures, and court filing requirements.
\n
• Experience supporting attorneys in a busy litigation practice.
\n
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Strong proofreading, writing, and document-formatting abilities.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology.
\n
• Professional, dependable, and proactive approach to supporting attorneys and clients.
\n
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
\n
