Property Accountant

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Property Accountant . This role will play a key part in supporting the financial operations of a portfolio of properties and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in property accounting and experience working with Yardi or similar ERP systems. Key Responsibilities sPerform general ledger reconciliation s and ensure accuracy of financial dat aPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement sConduct bank reconciliation s and investigate discrepancie sSupport CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and complianc eAnalyze financial results and provide variance analysi sAssist with budget preparation and forecastin gReview and perform lease abstractio nHelp resolve accounts payable discrepancie s in a timely manne rCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and reporting complianc eQualification sBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fiel d (required )3+ years of property accounting experienc eExperience with Yard i strongly preferre dExperience with MRI, Rent Manager, or similar ERP system s will also be considere dStrong knowledge of GAA P and financial reporting principle sProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial system sExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill sStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadline #J-18808-Ljbffr
