About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development and Marketing to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an integrated strategy that enhances the organization's visibility, community engagement, and revenue diversification. This role involves overseeing comprehensive fundraising strategies, marketing and communications, grants strategy, and campus activation. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development, marketing, communications, grants management, or community engagement, and a proven track record of securing and managing various types of grants. Experience in strategic marketing and communications initiatives, building community partnerships, and leading donor engagement strategies is essential. The role also requires strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, as well as experience with CRM or donor management systems. As the Vice President of Development and Marketing, the candidate will be expected to lead the organization's marketing, communications, and brand strategy, and to build and strengthen relationships with foundations, corporations, government agencies, and community partners. Executive leadership for campus initiatives that generate earned revenue and expand community engagement is also a key responsibility. The role involves supervising multidisciplinary teams, managing organizational budgets, and ensuring that all activities are in line with the organization's mission and priorities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and experience in youth-serving, trauma-informed, or community-based organizations is highly desirable. The candidate should be a strategic, relationship-oriented leader who is passionate about creating sustainable revenue opportunities that advance the organization's mission impact.
