Jr. Action Officer- Acquisitions (PID 2010)

Jr. Action Officer

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a Jr. Action Officer for the Acquisition team.

Ability to conduct analysis of multiple sources of data (e.g., IDIQs, task orders, schedules, status decks, requirements documents, change control documents, financial data)

Develop Investment Justification Package documentation, supplemental documentation, and associated routing sheets

Facilitate routing of packages through established processes and follow up as required

Develop briefing decks for Executive leadership on a recurring and ad hoc basis (e.g., COAs, informational briefings, decision briefings) on a variety of Program Control topics

Create a wide variety of documents including, reports, presentations, email communications, spreadsheet

Develop process diagrams as needed

Minimum qualifications:

5+ years of professional work experience

Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience creating, applying and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, and performance data

Must have experience in the creation of routine and ad hoc reports

Must be able to provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms

Bachelor's degree in a Business discipline is required or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong communication and organization skills
• VA experience preferred
