About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for a strategic role in client onboarding within the prime brokerage sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the onboarding process for prime services clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience. This high-visibility position spans the front, middle, and back office, and involves managing onboarding and implementation projects from initiation to successful launch. The role also includes developing and maintaining project plans, coordinating various activities such as account opening and risk approvals, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet established deadlines and governance standards. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years' of experience in institutional onboarding, client implementation, project management, or related financial services environments. A strong understanding of institutional client onboarding and account lifecycle processes is essential, as is the ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. The role requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with institutional investors, knowledge of financial products, and familiarity with KYC, AML, and onboarding documentation requirements. The role also involves stakeholder management, client engagement, governance and controls, and process improvement initiatives.
