Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and an optimal work-life balance. You will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which promotes consistency and reliability for both clients and staff. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of client mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment planning.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their personal goals, preferences, and unique life circumstances.
\n
• Utilize recognized therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based techniques to foster client growth and healing.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting greater understanding and active participation in the therapeutic process.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs and benchmarks.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to provide integrated, comprehensive care, ensuring that physical health considerations are addressed alongside mental health needs.

• Stay informed about the latest developments and research in mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development workshops to further enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Act as a client advocate, promoting the importance of mental health awareness and fighting against stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse client population facing challenges such as mood disorders, relationship struggles, and the complexities of divorce. Your expertise will help guide clients through their unique situations, fostering resilience and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the development of a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Strong empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a genuine commitment to understanding the experiences of clients.

• Organizational and time-management skills to effectively juggle client appointments and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in various therapeutic modalities, especially those related to family dynamics, relationship issues, and crisis intervention, will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with integrated care models and a strong commitment to continuous professional development are also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
