The Market Director, Support Services provides multi-facility operational leadership for Support Services across an assigned market, including Environmental Services (EVS), Food and Nutrition Services (FANS), and Facility Management. This leader translates enterprise, regional, and division Support Services strategies, standards, and operating models into consistent facility-level execution and is accountable for performance across the hospitals and facilities within the market. The Market Director partners closely with facility leadership and directly supports and develops facility Support Services leaders, establishes market operating routines and performance expectations, identifies and removes barriers to execution, and drives measurable improvement in care experience, quality and regulatory readiness, workforce performance, operational reliability, and financial outcomes. The role serves as the primary Support Services operational partner for the market, connecting Division Vice President leadership and enterprise functional resources to facility teams to ensure standardized, sustainable, and high-performing operations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provides operational leadership for Support Services across the assigned market and oversees performance across multiple facilities, establishing clear priorities, accountability, operating cadence, and execution expectations for EVS, FANS, and Facility Management.
• Translates enterprise, regional, and division Support Services strategies, programs, policies, and standards into market and facility operating plans; ensures consistent adoption and sustained execution across assigned sites.
• Partners with facility executives and Support Services leaders to drive performance across care experience, quality and regulatory readiness, service excellence, employee engagement, labor productivity, facility reliability, and financial outcomes.
• Establishes market performance-management routines to review key metrics, identify performance gaps, prioritize actions, validate results, and escalate material risks, barriers, or missed commitments to the Division Vice President of Support Services.
• Provides direct coaching, development, and performance support to facility Support Services leaders; reinforces role clarity, operating expectations, leadership accountability, and succession planning across the market.
• Identifies underperforming facilities or service lines using operational, financial, quality, workforce, compliance, and service indicators; leads focused assessments and coordinates the appropriate resources and corrective actions to improve and sustain performance.
• Drives standardization and reduction of variation across facilities, including staffing practices, labor management, supply and food-cost controls, maintenance practices, workflows, technology utilization, and service-delivery processes.
• Partners with facility Finance and Division leadership to support budget performance, labor productivity, expense management, benchmarking, savings initiatives, and disciplined resource utilization across the market.
• Supports environment-of-care, life-safety, food safety, infection prevention, accreditation readiness, emergency response, and facility infrastructure priorities in collaboration with Regulatory, Safety, Engineering, and Facility Management partners.
• Coordinates implementation of Support Services initiatives, operating-model changes, technology deployments, and performance-improvement plans across market facilities, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, communication, adoption, and sustainment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree, Required
• Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, operations, or a related field., Preferred
• Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare Support Services Facility Management (knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumping, Etc) Required
• Must be willing to travel up to 75%
