Lead Software Engineer - Python/Java AI Markets

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using Python, Java, or C++.
• We need practical experience with AI components and a strong perspective on how they fit into modern technology stacks.
• We need a solid grounding in AWS services and best practices, along with hands-on cloud-native experience.
• We need proficiency in automation and continuous delivery approaches.
• We need strong command of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• We need advanced knowledge of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We need demonstrated skill with software applications and technical processes in a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
• We need interest in financial markets and trading, plus the ability to work directly with Credit Sales and Trading teams to deliver technology solutions.
• We need strong communication skills and enthusiasm for advancing technology through AI and modern engineering practices.

• We create inventive software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, and we approach problems beyond standard methods.
• We build and support AI-native systems that expand our eTrading capabilities, including scalable AI platforms for trading and modernization of existing systems with AI tooling.
• We work directly with Credit Sales and Trading partners to understand strategy and shape technical solutions with Product teams.
• We architect and build new systems hands-on, using AI-assisted coding and modern engineering practices.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We identify opportunities to remove or automate recurring remediation work to strengthen operational stability and improve system KPI performance.
• We partner with L1 support teams to provide production support, maintain reliability, and resolve issues quickly.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical strengths, and fit within our systems and information architecture.
• We lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to increase awareness and adoption of emerging technologies.
