What’s a typical day as an Accounts Receivable Specialist? You’ll be:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and disputes, delivering timely and courteous service.
• Applying cash receipts efficiently and accurately.
• Facilitating prompt collection of accounts receivable and minimizing unapplied funds through meticulous record-keeping.
• Responding to both internal and external customer inquiries, maintaining professionalism and clarity at all times.
• Recognizing and escalating financial opportunities and issues to management as necessary.
• Supporting internal stakeholders and external customers with excellent service.
• Preparing schedules and reports for management and audit purposes.
• Researching and resolving both standard and escalated AR issues quickly and accurately.
• Participating in continuous process improvements and adopting best practices within accounts receivable operations.
• Maintaining proficiency in AR systems and related software.
• Prioritizing workload and collaborating with management on complex matters.
• Assisting with special projects and additional responsibilities as directed.

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bring at least 2 years of relevant accounts receivable experience to the table.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excel at professional customer service, with a proactive and self-starting mindset.
• Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Show high attention to detail and are motivated by meeting deadlines.
• Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills.
