Our work depends on a Deskside Support Manager joining our team to support Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) activities in Rockville, Maryland.

HOW A DESKSIDE SUPPORT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages team of desktop support engineers locally and across HHS regions.
• Provisions and deploys laptops and desktops as required.
• Imaging and handoff to employees / desktop refresh / and general deskside support.
• Adds, Moves, and Changes
• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project. Supervises regional staff

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• BS/BA Degree and 5 plus years' relative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of technical and supervisory experience with proven successful transition, implementation, and execution on large IT infrastructure and operations task orders.
• Demonstrated experience managing and ensuring the successful completion of multiple technical tasks in assigned program(s).
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, manage, supervise, train, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate staff as assigned.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
  • Must have been in the US for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous HHS experience
• PMP Certification
